Tidd Lawn Care has been serving customers throughout the Kansas City area since 2019. What started as a family business built by Brian Tidd and his son, Payton, grew through visibility, relationships and word of mouth.
People saw Tidd Lawn Care working in their communities, customers recommended the company to others, and the business steadily grew. What began primarily through neighborhood connections has developed into a full-service lawn and property care company serving residential customers while continuing to expand its relationships with businesses and property managers throughout the Kansas City area.
A Family Business With a Story Behind It
Tidd Lawn Care is a family business rooted in the Tidd family — Brian and Tiffany, their son Payton, and daughter Alexi.
When Tidd Lawn Care began, Brian and Payton worked side by side building the business and serving customers throughout the Kansas City area. After Payton passed away following a motorcycle accident, Brian continued the company they had built together.
Payton remains an important part of the Tidd Lawn Care story. A certified mechanic, Payton had firsthand experience with the investment in tools required to begin a career in the trade. To honor his memory, the Tidd family hopes to help mechanics students with that expense by providing tools through donations made in Payton’s honor.
More Than Mowing
Tidd Lawn Care takes a more complete approach to lawn and property care. Rather than treating mowing, turf health and seasonal needs as separate jobs, the focus is on maintaining properties consistently throughout the year.
Brian remains directly involved in the day-to-day work, giving customers the benefit of an owner who knows the properties Tidd Lawn Care maintains and takes an active role in the quality of the work being done.
That approach allows Tidd Lawn Care to look beyond how a property looks on mowing day and consider what it needs throughout the season. From routine maintenance to turf care and seasonal property needs, services can work together as part of a more complete approach to maintaining residential and commercial properties.
